Are you looking to monitor processes, ensure product quality, or localize objects using optical data? With machine vision technology, AI-powered camera systems can enhance your operations by delivering critical insights and real-time feedback with precision. Reduce operator workload, instead empowering operators to concentrate on complex decision-making while automating perception tasks to increase accuracy, decrease downtime, streamline production, and maintain consistent product quality.
Visual inspections are essential for maintaining mission-critical assets, yet
traditional methods are slow, labor-intensive, and prone to human error. Under an SBIR Phase II contract,
Analatom Inc. developed the Automated Inspection using Deep Learning (AIDL) system, an AI-powered tool that
enhances the speed and accuracy of defect detection in aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO).
Since its inception, AIDL has demonstrated versatility across multiple industries, including aerospace,
manufacturing, engineering, and energy.
AIDL has already proven its impact, reducing inspection times by 75% for Air Force propeller blade
assessments. By replacing manual analysis with AI-driven defect recognition, it streamlines processes, lowers
costs, and improves reliability. For commercial clients, AIDL operates in a secure cloud environment, while
for the Department of Defense (DoD), Analatom is transitioning the system to AF Cloud One as part of a Phase
II Option Effort. This ensures secure, scalable deployment across DoD facilities with real-time accessibility.
Analatom is also securing Phase III funding to expand AIDL into a fully automated digital twin platform for
predictive maintenance and lifecycle management. Through AI-driven data fusion, robotics, and multispectral
imaging, this platform will provide comprehensive damage mapping and remaining useful life assessments for
critical aerospace components.
AIDL’s capabilities extend beyond aerospace, attracting interest from industry leaders such as Avangrid and
FIT-Foxconn International Technologies. These partnerships are exploring applications in energy and
manufacturing, from drone-based defect detection in solar panel inspections to real-time quality control in
advanced manufacturing environments.
With its proven success in aerospace and expansion into new industries, AIDL is
redefining automated inspection at scale. Analatom remains committed to delivering cutting-edge AI solutions
that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support mission-critical operations across government and industry.
